CS-FAST stores all data needs, rules, screens, reports and batch processes in a central Knowledge Base. This Knowledge Base is then used to generate the system using the appropriate technical and database generators. As technology advances and newer technical environments arise, the system is kept current by simply applying new generators to the existing Knowledge Base thus "Future-Proofing" - this will be the last child support system you will ever need.

Most system development projects focus on functionality – what are the system requirements, and how can functionality be improved? CS-FAST emphasizes a broader perspective…one that includes your business processes and your available resources, both human and financial.
With the CS-FAST solution, we begin by using our STAR (Steps To Achieve Results) implementation methodology to understand fully your operational environment. In this exploratory phase, process and functional performance enhancement opportunities are revealed and documented. Next, we complete a series of Configuration Worksheets that pinpoint where system customization will be required. Those changes are made and the system is then regenerated, allowing users to access a fully functional system to validate the design, requirements and functionality.
Not only does this methodology provide the users with a clearer understanding of how the system will operate, it creates user buy-in to the system. With changes being made during the design process, the STAR process provides the users with a greater feeling that this is "their system" and that it does what they want it to in the manner in which they need it to work. This level of user understanding and control ensures a successful system implementation.
